Manchester United made minor adjustments to the goalkeeper department in the summer, but it sounds like they are still in the market to bolster their options.
Ever since Senne Lammens became Manchester United’s first-choice goalkeeper, there have been significantly fewer complaints than before when Andre Onana was between the sticks, even though the defence is still conceding goals at an alarming rate.
United signed one goalkeeper in the summer, with Karl Darlow arriving as a free agent. His debut performance was stuff of nightmares as Brighton came from behind to win 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Reports now suggest United are watching a goalkeeper based in South America, who could potentially offer more competition for Lammens than the experienced Premier League duo Darlow and Tom Heaton.
