Manchester United‘s JJ Gabriel no longer has faith over winning major honours with the Premier League side and wants to leave by next summer at the latest.
The 15-year-old joined the Manchester United’s academy in 2022, and his rise has been rapid.
During the 2024/25 season, the attacking midfielder made his way into their U18 side. Since then, he managed 29 goals and four assists from 33 matches.
This season, Manchester United promoted him to their U21 squad, and he has two goals and two assists from two matches. The England U17 international is yet to make his first team debut.
Top clubs pursuing youngster
JJ Gabriel hasn’t made an appearance this month, partly because of his desire to leave the Old Trafford club.
Bayern Munich are an option in Germany, and their sporting director, Christoph Freund, has already hailed him.
He said: “I don’t talk about players who are under contract with other clubs. We know the player because he is very, very talented, an exceptional talent.”
After relaying these comments, Bild cover his plans and the Bundesliga winners’ chances of securing his services.

Manchester United man’s camp makes first move
JJ Gabriel will ‘definitely leave’ Michael Carrick’s side by next summer at the latest and Bild states this is because of sporting reasons.
He wants to win titles at a young age and believes Manchester United can’t compete in the coming years. The Red Devils last won the Premier League in 2013.
Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are the four clubs battling for his signature. Three of them are current champions, while Real Madrid have won and competed for major honours in recent years. For now, his preference is to move to Spain.
Gabriel will turn 16 years of age on October 6th, which allows him to sign with an agent. Epic Sports’ Ali Barat will be his future representative, and he seems to be already at work to take him out of Manchester United.
The teenager currently holds a UK passport, which makes him a non-EU player. He’s eligible to obtain a European passport because of his Cypriot mother. He’s also eligible for an Irish passport. If he doesn’t, the top European clubs have to wait until he turns 18 years of age to bring him to the club.
