Barcelona sporting director Deco has told talkSPORT that they are not interested in signing JJ Gabriel from Manchester United.
As revealed last week, the 15-year-old wonderkid has asked to leave United in what is a huge revelation at Old Trafford.

Gabriel has been linked with a big move to Barcelona, but Deco insists they are not interested
Gabriel, who club legend Ryan Giggs called a 'generational talent' just weeks ago, has sent a formal notice to cancel his registration.
talkSPORT reported that he travelled to Spain for transfer talks, with Real Madrid and Barcelona being two viable options for him.
However Deco, a Barca legend who now works in their recruitment team, has shut down the chances of them signing the 15-year-old.

"There's nothing to say about this boy," he said to talkSPORT's Ben Jacobs. "It's normal we always have players linked with us. There's a huge market for that, even when they (players) are young.
"We are not interested in any player in his situation.
"I am not sure what's happening, and if he's still a Manchester United player. We are not involved in that.
"First of all, we need to understand how the situation is before we try to do something.
"And to speak about young, teenage players, it is not our business."

talkSPORT understands United are still hopeful of buying enough time to resolve the issue.
However, Gabriel is pushing to leave Old Trafford as soon as possible for a new challenge.

Gabriel, who recently scored a hat-trick for the United in the UEFA Youth League, is looking for a new challenge
Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have also been credited with interest.
Gabriel was reportedly due to be in the United squad that lost 3-2 to Brighton in the Carabao Cup on September 16.
He would have become the youngest player in the club's history if he appeared during the match.
However, news of him wanting to cancel his registration broke on the day prior, and he did not feature.
Whilst United were rocked by the decision, it's one that their all-time record scorer Wayne Rooney wasn't surprised by.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he claimed that 'everyone has seen it coming' and that the youngster has been keen on playing in Spain.

It remains to be seen if Gabriel will join a domestic or European rival, or even stay at United following his request
"This is not a massive surprise to me," talkSPORT's chief football correspondent Alex Crook also said.
"The messaging coming out of United was that they were confident of securing his future despite whispers coming from Chelsea.
"Also, clubs on the continent, Arsenal, Manchester City as well.
"Now we hear that he's asked to leave... and if he were to leave, it would raise questions again of how the club is being run.
"You look at the history of Man United, the DNA, it's all about the young, homegrown talent bursting into the first team.
"If one of their own decides that his future is better served, particularly somewhere like Chelsea, that's a real kick in the face."
