Manchester United have completed the signing of highly-rated Liverpool youngster Isaac Konde.
The Athletic have revealed that the 16-year-old has joined United on a one-year scholarship before signing a five-year professional contract.
United and Liverpool remain in talks over a compensation package, with expectations that the final figure could reach seven figures.
Konde grew up on Merseyside and joined Liverpool as an under-nine player in 2018.
The teenage winger is regarded as an exciting prospect and has been described as “fast and direct.”
He has been compared to Nani or Wilfried Zaha due to his style of play.
Konde will now look to take the next step in his development under Under-18s head coach Darren Fletcher. He made six appearances for Liverpool under-18s last campaign.
Konde is the second highly-rated youngster to complete a move to United this week.
