Real Madrid have published a new medical report on Raúl Asencio, who underwent surgery today.
Our player Raúl Asencio successfully underwent surgery today performed by Dr. Manuel Leyes for a stress fracture in his right tibia. The operation was supervised by Real Madrid’s Medical Services.
Asencio will begin his recovery process in the coming days.

Coach José Mourinho visited the player after surgery, the club announced on its official website.
Asencio will be out around four months while he rehabs from this process. The Spanish defender had been playing through pain all second half of last season.
Real Madrid’s depth for the defensive line will be in jeopardy now that both Huijsen (suspension) and Konaté (injury) are also out.
