Senesi's girlfriend leaves club less than two months after signing

Marcos Senesi's girlfriend, Kelci-Rose Bowers, has left non-league club Hashtag United as her shock move has 'not worked out'.

Bowers, who was previously at Bournemouth just like her partner Senesi, only joined Hashtag less than two months ago.

Senesi's girlfriend Bowers has left Hashtag United less than two months after signing for the club

She departed the Cherries' women's side to follow Senesi to London after he signed for Tottenham over the summer.

The Argentinian international signed a four-year contract at Spurs at the start of June after his deal at Bournemouth expired.

Bowers then left the club too and signed for Hashtag in a shock move just a few weeks later in August.

However, the former England youth full-back has now already departed the club after just three competitive games.

She played the full 90 minutes in Hashtag's season opener against Lewes and then scored in the League Cup before featuring against her old side on August 30, in what was her last appearance.

Hashtag admit move 'has not worked out'

Hashtag announced on Thursday that her contract had been terminated and revealed that she is leaving to join another FAWNL (FA Women's National League) side.

"The club can confirm Kelci-Rose Bowers has left the club via mutual termination," they wrote.

"We welcomed Kelci to the club this summer following her relocation from Bournemouth, but unfortunately the move has not worked out, and the club have agreed to her transfer to another FAWNL club.

"We’d like to wish Kelci the best in this next chapter of her career."

The 22-year-old's new club is yet to be confirmed and Hashtag kept their name out of their statement.

Senesi in the same boat?

Bowers' switch to London hasn't gone too well, and so far, Senesi's move to Tottenham doesn't seem to have either.

Having starred for Bournemouth last season, he has played just one Premier League game for Spurs this season.

The Argentina international, who was in his nation's World Cup squad, started their opening defeat to Brentford, but has remained an unused substitute under Roberto De Zerbi since.

His only other appearance came in the Carabao Cup, as his new side were dumped out at home to Liverpool last month.

Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke seem to be the starters for De Zerbi - so will Senesi have to continue to wait for a chance?

The centre-back will hope that things 'work out' for him and that he doesn't also have a quick exit, similar to partner Bowers.
