Newcastle United have been handed a fresh injury concern ahead of their Premier League trip to Coventry City.
Newcastle United have been dealt another injury concern following Lewis Miley’s withdrawal from the England under-21s squad.
Miley was an unused substitute in the Three Lions’ 4-2 win over Kazakhstan last week and has now left the camp ahead of Friday’s European Championship qualifier against Slovakia at Stoke City’s Bet365 Stadium.
An England statement on Thursday afternoon confirmed: “Jobe Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund) and Lewis Miley (Newcastle United) have returned to their clubs for the remainder of the current men's under-21s camp.

“Harrison Armstrong (Everton) and Trey Nyoni (Liverpool) have joined up with the group as replacements.”
Official statement confirms new NUFC injury concern-
The 20-year-old has now returned to Tyneside for treatment and will be assessed ahead of the Premier League trip to Coventry City on Monday, October 12.
Miley was forced to fill in at right-back in the Magpies’ last match - a 2-1 win against Hull City at St James’ Park - with recognised full-backs Amar Dedic and Tino Livramento both unavailable. Newcastle boss Matthias Jaissle was without eight outfield players in total, including Dan Burn, Nico Gonzalez, Jacob Ramsey, Joelinton, Anthony Elanga and Will Osula.
Gonzalez, who missed out against Hull due to concussion protocols, and Joelinton were spotted back in training this week. The Brazilian is yet to feature this season due to a muscle injury.
Meanwhile, club captain Burn is aiming to return for the visit to Coventry, while Dedic could also push to be involved after Bosnia and Herzegovina manager Sergej Barbarez revealed the 24-year-old would be sidelined for three to four weeks.
However, when Livramento, Ramsey, Elanga and Osula will be back is still slightly unclear, although it is hoped the latter two aren’t too far away.
Livramento was called up to the England senior squad for their UEFA Nations League matches but was forced to withdraw after picking up an injury on the eve of the game against Hull.
Osula hasn’t featured since the Premier League opener against Liverpool, while Ramsey and Elanga missed the last two matches before the three-week international break.
