Former Ipswich Town defender and academy coach Chris Casement has started a new job with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah, having left the Blues last week.

The 38-year-old, who helped Town win the FA Youth Cup in 2005, confirmed his new role on his LinkedIn page.

“I’m very grateful to share that I’ve started a new position at Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club as an individual development coach,” he wrote.

Casement will link up with fellow Northern Irishman and former Premier League boss Brendan Rodgers, who is the head coach of the Saudi outfit.
