La Liga giants Real Madrid have over the last 24 hours been afforded some welcome positive news on the personnel front. This comes amid confirmation that Arda Güler is primed for an early return from international duty.

Midfielder Arda has for his part spent the last couple of weeks plying his trade with the Turkish national team.

The 21-year-old was back in action for the latest occasion on Friday, in a Nations League meeting with Belgium. En route to an eventual 3-0 defeat for Türkiye, though, Arda was shown a yellow card.

His 2nd of the Nations League campaign to date, the starlet is therefore facing up to a one-match suspension.

Unavailable for selection to face Italy on Monday, Arda will in turn imminently make his way back to base in Madrid, with an extra couple of days’ rest to look forward to ahead of Real’s La Liga meeting with Villarreal next weekend.
