Town Women Aiming to Continue Positive Start at Sheffield United

Ipswich Town Women will be out to continue their excellent start to their WSL2 season when they face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this afternoon (KO 2pm, [live on YouTube](https://youtu.be/uvAALe5nvXk)).
David Wright’s side, who held big-spending London City Lionesses until the final minute in the Subway Players Cup on Wednesday, remain unbeaten in WSL2 and moved up to third in the table following last Sunday’s 3-1 win at home to Wolves.
The Blades are ninth having ended a run of three defeats in their first three WSL2 games - plus a 10-1 walloping at Manchester United in the Players Cup - when they beat bottom side Durham 4-1 at at Bramall Lane last weekend.
“They’re coming off a really good result, beating Durham at home, so they’ll be in a positive frame of mind,” Wright told _[TownTV](https://www.itfc.co.uk/videos/c49a39f9-feb0-4f10-8c59-1c04fbf885a0)_.
“But we’ve got to make sure we concentrate on ourselves. We’re in a really good moment ourselves.
“We’ve had a really strong start to the season. I thought the girls’ performance levels on Wednesday against London City, even though we conceded in the last minute, overall the performance levels were excellent. I was really pleased with them.
“We’ve got to take confidence and belief in the high level of performance that the girls have been putting out. We’ve got to take it to Sheffield United. If we do that, we give ourselves the best opportunity to get a positive result.”
The Blues boss had no injury issues to report as his team goes into their third match in eight days.
“Everyone’s come out of the game fine, which is really good. Obviously, now we’re at a performance level and that’s what I want the girls to give me, I want the girls to give me headaches in terms of who starts Sunday.
“I’ve got a squad of 25 really good players who could all play. It’s going to be an interesting team selection this week. That’s what I want the girls to give me, that problem.”
