Nottingham Forest winger Dan Ndoye was on the scoresheet for Switzerland against Slovenia last night - and his performance was a hit with the media. Reds ace Ndoye was on target in a 2-1 win over Slovenia which followed a performance against Scotland in which he registered two assists which has been in contrast to his club form.
The winger has yet to truly convince at Forest compared to his form at international level, with the Reds hoping his time away can help ignite them in the Premier League. Some fans have been frustrated by his up-and-down performances at the City Ground despite his obvious talent, which caught the eye of 20 Minuten.
In their player ratings, with six being the highest possible score, they awarded Ndoye a five and said: "Little reward for a lot of work. He tore up the pitch and his opponents but rarely got into dangerous areas.
"He remained energetic and eager to run until the end, always looking for his opportunity. Technique, speed – with great potential for efficiency.
"He was perfectly positioned just before half-time and converted Amdouni’s pass to make it 2-1. Up until then, his most notable moment was a dive over the boards.”
Ndoye has started all five league games under Oliver Glasner but has yet to complete 90 minutes, although he did score in a memorable 2-2 draw against Liverpool earlier in the season.
Having signed from Bologna in the summer of 2025, Ndoye has made 29 appearances in the league for Forest and has scored two goals. Ten of his appearances have come from the substitutes' bench.
Forest will hope he will retain his form when the Premier League gets back under way next weekend with the Reds due to travel to Crystal Palace where Oliver Glasner will come face to face with his former employers for the first time in the Premier League.
