Hull City return to Premier League action this weekend after a three-week international break, with Everton visiting the MKM Stadium for a game that pits eighth against seventh respectively.
After a terrific start to the season that has brought eight points from five games and a lofty position in the league standings, the Tigers will return from a three-week break hopeful of restarting their league campaign just as they kicked the whole thing off in August with a home win.
With so many games still to play this season so much can happen, yet its hard to look beyond how pivotal a month October could be for Sergej Jakirovic's men.
With four games to play in 20 days, October could give way to November and another international break with the Tigers sat in a very healthy position and some way towards securing safety this season. No game is easy in the top flight as every team knows, but October does provide an opportunity to have a run of games that, based on evidence seen so far this season, could provide a a number of points for the Tigers.
How many points? That's exactly the question we asked our readers.
City host Everton on Sunday, then follow that with an away trip to a winless Fulham. Then it's high-flying Brentford at home, followed by another MKM Stadium fixture against fellow promoted side Ipswich Town. There are 12 points of offer with over three quarters of the readers polled believing the Tigers will pick up somewhere between five and nine points.
A total of 43 percent expect City will win five to six points, which would be two wins from four matches, or a win, two draws and a loss. A further 31 percent have been bolder and think seven to nine points is a real possibility for the team.
Just four percent expect an incredible 10-12 points and an unbeaten run in the four games, with six percent believing City will take two points or less. Here's how the poll results stacked up.
Hull City play four matches in October against Everton, Fulham, Brentford and Ipswich. How many points are you expecting?
7-9 points: 31%
5-6 points: 43%
