AFC Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi (20) is on track to make a return from injury later this month, as per a report from L’Équipe.

Having suffered a foot injury and undergone surgery at the end of July, the former FC Lorient player is now aiming to return to competitive action on 25th October, when the Cherries travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

Whilst no risks will be taken with his recovery, Kroupi is hopeful of a return soon, having been able to get back on the pitch this weekend, alternating between running drills and small-sided games at his English club’s training ground.

Following a dazzling first Premier League season, in which he scored 13 goals in 33 appearances, the Frenchman now hopes to live up to the expectations placed upon him, before potentially moving on to a top-flight club, with his name having been linked in recent months with a move to Arsenal and FC Barcelona.
