THE Cherries will host Feniton in the first round proper of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

The Devon side will travel to Dorset on Sunday, October 25, after the draw yesterday, which was broadcast on the official Women’s FA Cup YouTube and TikTok channels.

Bournemouth will be aiming for another record run in the historic cup competition after they reached the fourth round last term.

There, they were beaten by eventual WSL champions and cup winners Manchester City, who defeated Helen Bleazard’s side 6-0 to progress to the fifth round.

A total of 96 clubs compete in the first round proper of the FA Cup, with the 48 ties divided into north, midlands and south regional sections.

The Cherries enter the competition at this stage and Feniton FC will be their visitors as they travel across from Devon.

Feniton compete in the sixth tier, the South West Women’s Football League, and have progressed through all the qualifying rounds to reach this stage.

They have beaten Teignmouth, Stoke Gabriel, Shaftesbury and Ilminster as they made history to reach the first round proper for the first time in the club's history.
