On-loan Ipswich Town midfielder Cameron Humphreys has been named in the WhoScored's EFL Team of the Week for his performance in Huddersfield Town's win over the weekend.

The 22-year-old re-joined the Terriers on a season-long loan in August and has since slotted into Martin Drury's side, who currently sit third in the League One table.

Humphreys played the full 90 minutes for the West Yorkshire outfit as they secured a 3-1 win over Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

And his performance during the victory earned him a place in the latest Team of the Week. The XI is picked by WhoScored ratings, which are generated by statistics and data from matches.

According to the EFL Humphreys "provided a strong blend of creativity and defensive work from midfield. His four attacking assists were joint-second-most in the EFL over the weekend, while he also made three tackles and three interceptions.

"He won eight duels and two aerial contests, further demonstrating his all-round influence. The combination of four attacking assists and meaningful defensive contributions makes his 8.24 rating particularly impressive."

The academy graduate penned a new two-year deal at Portman Road, prior to returning to Huddersfield, where he will hope to add another promotion to his CV.
