Juventus have identified Lorenzo Bernasconi as one of the top Italian players they should sign as the defender continues to develop at Atalanta.
La Dea know they have a talented player on their hands, but that does not mean they will refuse to sell him if the right offer arrives. Juventus are now pushing to make a move happen.
Bernasconi would also be open to joining the Bianconeri, while Juventus are convinced they have identified a player who can strengthen their squad. They do not want to lose him to a rival.
Atalanta are unlikely to allow the 22-year-old to leave cheaply, meaning Juventus may need to be creative with their offer. The Bianconeri have already considered a way to make their proposal more attractive.
Juventus consider Cabal as part of deal
Tuttomercatoweb reports that Juventus are willing to include Juan Cabal in their offer for Bernasconi.
Atalanta wanted to sign Cabal in the summer and were close to reaching an agreement before deciding not to proceed. With both players operating in the same position, Juventus could use Cabal as part of a proposal that would appeal to La Dea.
Including Cabal could help Juventus reduce the difficulty of negotiating Bernasconi’s transfer. However, Atalanta will still have to decide whether they are willing to accept such an arrangement.

Bernasconi wants Juventus move
Both clubs are expected to work towards finding a compromise. Even if Atalanta insist on signing Cabal through a separate agreement, Juventus will look for another way to complete a deal for Bernasconi.
The Bianconeri are determined to add the defender to their squad and believe his development makes him a player worth pursuing.
Bernasconi would also be happy to move to Juventus, giving the club another advantage in the race for his signature. His willingness to join could make negotiations easier if the two clubs can agree on the financial terms.
Juventus will now continue working on a solution that satisfies Atalanta while allowing them to secure a player they have identified as an important target.
With the defender open to the move, the Bianconeri will hope that their interest can eventually lead to an agreement.
