Anis Mehmeti and Sindre Walle Egeli added to their international caps this evening.
Mehmeti came on as a half-time sub as Albania avoided impending embarrassment by scoring a 93rd-minute penalty to beat minnows San Marino 2-1 in Tirana in their fourth Nations League group game, the Blues forward picking up his ninth cap.
Albania end the international break top of their group with nine points.

Walle Egeli’s Norway U21s drew 1-1 with Israel in Stavanger in their final European Championship qualifier having already secured their place at next summer’s tournament in Serbia and Albania.
The attacker was winning his 15th U21s cap, in addition to one at senior level, scoring 10 goals, eight in the qualification games.

Young defender Corbin Mthunzi left the Zimbabwe U23s camp prior to the second leg of their CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away against Mauritius this afternoon and was involved in the Blues’ U21s’ game at Peterborough.
In his absence, his Zimbabwean teammates romped to a 4-1 win to claim a 6-1 victory on aggregate, Mthunzi having skippered the first leg. They will face Mali in the next round.
