Hakan Calhanoglu has entered the final year of his contract at Inter Milan, and Juventus is interested in adding him to their squad at the end of this season.
That would mean he has played for the top three clubs in Serie A, having also competed for AC Milan before joining their direct rival Inter, so will he move to Juve?
The Bianconeri are preparing to welcome him at the end of this season, but Inter Milan has decided to keep him in their squad for one more season and is in talks with his entourage to make that happen.
The problem for them is that they do not want to pay him the same salary and have proposed a reduced wage for the midfielder, but at the moment, he is not open to making that happen.
Inter’s stance
Tuttojuve reports that the talks are of interest to Juve, and the Bianconeri are paying close attention to movements around the midfielder as they want to sign him for free.
The Nerazzurri are in a difficult position because Calhanoglu has been one of their most important players since he moved across the city from AC Milan. He has been a key figure in their midfield and contributed to their successes in recent seasons.
Inter’s proposal to reduce his salary suggests that the club is trying to manage its finances carefully. However, that approach carries the risk of losing a player who still has considerable value and could attract interest from several top clubs.

Juventus waits for an opportunity
Juve would look to add him to their squad as soon as they can, which will be immediately after his deal at Inter expires. The Bianconeri have been monitoring his situation for some time and see him as a player who could strengthen their midfield.
Calhanoglu’s experience in Serie A and his ability to perform at the highest level make him an attractive option for Juventus. The Turkish international has proven himself as one of the best midfielders in the league and would bring quality and creativity to the Bianconeri’s squad.
The midfielder’s decision will likely depend on whether Inter can offer him a contract that meets his expectations. If the Nerazzurri fail to reach an agreement soon, Juve will be ready to step in and make their move.
