Bayern Munich have identified rising Leeds United star Tarik Muharemovic as their ‘top target’.
That’s according to TEAMtalk who claim the Bundesliga giants could even make a move for the centre back in January. However, they view next summer as a far more likely juncture at which Bayern will come calling for a player who joined Leeds just a few months ago.
It is claimed he is already worth £60million, nearly double what United paid Sassuolo for him as they sought to replace Brighton-bound Pascal Struijk.
The Bosnia & Herzegovina international is just a couple of months into a five-year contract so there is certainly no worry about Leeds having their hand forced.
The rumour is more a validation of their recruitment and recognition of two things, they did well to beat off intense competition to sign the 23-year-old and they were right to do so.

It’s claimed as well as Bayern, Inter Milan remain keen having wanted to sign him themselves in the summer. Newcastle, Bournemouth and Sunderland are also mentioned as interested at the time.
Since coming to Elland Road Muharemovic has shown all the qualities Daniel Farke would want in a centre back, aerially secure, solid on the ground and a threat in both penalty boxes.
He has played every minute so far this season, both for club and country having played full 90s against Poland home and away, Sweden and Romania.
