Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has become a serious transfer target for Juventus, with the Bianconeri continuing to scout him during the international window.
For a player who has competed for Bayern Munich, Southampton and Tottenham before moving to OM, Hojbjerg needs no introduction. However, he is 31, and Juve needs to be sure that he has what it takes to do well on their team.
The men at the Allianz Stadium have worked really hard for their team to have some fine names in it, and so far, they have done well in the league and in Europe.
Juve’s interest explained
Tuttomercatoweb says Juventus may be obsessed with bringing Hojbjerg to Turin as they have spent this international break watching him. The midfielder is a key player for the Danish national team, which he captains, and the report says Juve is one of the clubs that have been following their matches in this window.
The main reason for that is that they want to sign Hojbjerg. The midfielder is the profile they think might be missing in their squad, and they believe he could add the experience and leadership they need in the middle of the park.
Hojbjerg has a strong reputation in European football, having played for some of the biggest clubs on the continent. His experience and leadership qualities make him an attractive option for Juventus as they look to strengthen their midfield.

OM open to a sale
OM is happy for him to leave the club as they want to save some wages after failing to return to the Champions League. Saving his wages and making some money from his transfer will do wonders for their finances, so they hope he will agree to join Juventus in January.
The French club’s financial situation could work in Juve’s favour. OM is reportedly willing to listen to offers for the midfielder, and a transfer in the upcoming window could suit all parties involved.
