Hull City resume their Premier League campaign this weekend when they welcome Everton to the MKM Stadium.
Sergej Jakirovic’s men do so one point and one place behind the Toffees but have made a superb start to life back in the top flight that has confunded the doom-mongers.
That said the Tigers will be looking to get back to winning ways, with Jakirovic assessing the impact of the international break – a misnomer if ever there was one – on his squad.
He will have Nobel Mendy back amongst his ranks, after centre back recovered from a concussion to play 89 minutes for Senegal on Sunday. Elliot Stroud will hopefully have recovered from the illness that swept through the Sweden camp.

However, there are question marks over several others. Hidemasa Morita, Brooke Norton-Cuffey, Darko Gyabi are all pencilled in to return to training this week, whether they will have enough time to be ready for this Sunday is another matter. Gyabi has not played since January. The picture is less clear on Matt Targett who has featured in the league just once.
Ruled out are former Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, who could be back for Fulham, Jack Butland and Elliot Matazo who are longer-term.
Charlie Hughes is back in individual training and has not been ready this season yet, Ilyas Ansah is still set to be unavailable.
As for Everton there is doubt over their only senior left back Vitalii Mykolenko who did not feature in all of Ukraine’s fixtures. Christian Norgaard has been pictured training and could make his Everton debut.
Right back Merlin Rohl has also missed the last three matches and in the absence of confirmed information goes down as a doubt.
