Former defender Dominic Wuillemin believes that Nottingham Forest star Dan Ndoye has ‘improved in every aspect’ and is a ‘stroke of luck’ for the Switzerland national team.
Ndoye made his Switzerland debut in a 2-1 win over Spain in the Nations League in 2022 and over time he has established himself in the national team set-up.
The 25-year-old impressed at the World Cup, scoring two goals in six matches and helping Switzerland reach the quarter-finals.

During the recent international break, Ndoye once again stepped up for his nation, contributing to five goals in four matches in the Nations League.
For the Switzerland national team, Ndoye has featured 42 times, and Wuillemin insisted that he has ‘improved in every aspect’ following his strong displays in recent matches.
The former defender also praised Ndoye for his professionalism and believes that he is a ‘stroke of luck’ for the Switzerland national team.
Wuillemin was quoted as saying by Swiss outlet Bazonline: “He has simply improved in every aspect.

“An absolute model professional and a stroke of luck for Switzerland.”
Ndoye will now return to the City Ground and the Nottingham Forest will want him to build on his momentum from the Nations League.
Nottingham Forest paid around £34m to sign Ndoye on a six-year deal from Serie A outfit Bologna.
However, the 25-year-old endured a difficult debut season, as he failed to perform consistently throughout last season and did not deliver on the lofty expectations.
But former Switzerland defender Stephane Henchoz explained that Ndoye’s settling-in period at Nottingham Forest is over, and backed him to deliver for the Tricky Trees this campaign.
Ndoye has featured regularly for Nottingham Forest under Oliver Glasner and could feature against Crystal Palace on 11th October following the conclusion of the international break.
