Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has reposted a video mocking former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo on social media.
Ronaldo has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons in recent weeks after leaving the Portugal squad in the middle of the camp after being an unused substitute for the 4-2 win over Norway, releasing an explosive statement against manager Jorge Jesus.
Meanwhile, his long-term rival Lionel Messi has been the centre of attention in recent days after receiving a glorious farewell from Argentina after announcing his retirement from international duty, as he registered his 126th goal and two assists in his final appearance for his nation in a 3-0 win over Benin.
The differing scenarios have once again sparked the notorious Ronaldo vs Messi debate over who has had the greater career and who was the better player, with both being considered to be among the greatest of all time.
Fans have continued to argue their case online, and someone created a video mocking Ronaldo and showing the achievements of Messi and other rivals during his career. And according to Get Spanish Football News, via Yahoo Sports, Iker Casillas showed his approval of the video by reposting it on his own social media profile.

The video showed Ronaldo speaking about the dreams and aspirations he had for his career. For example, a clip is shown of Ronaldo stating that he values Golden Boots more than the Ballon d'Or as they don't depend on votes, and then cuts to a clip showing Messi with six of them, while Ronaldo only won four.
It then shows Ronaldo admitting that winning the World Cup was his dream, before cutting to a video of his old rival Messi lifting the trophy for Argentina in 2022, and then showed Ronaldo stating that he wanted to win the most Ballon d'Or's in history, before showing Messi with his record-breaking eight, compared to Ronaldo's five.
Another clip shows Barcelona legend Xavi labelling Messi as the best player in the world, with Ronaldo rubbishing those claims because he played in the Middle East. The video then mocks Ronaldo, showing him signing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia years later.
Finally, a clip of Ronaldo saying that he is the best player in history is shown, before being followed by a clip of Messi scoring a goal while being challenged by Ronaldo himself.
Ronaldo and Casillas played together at Real Madrid for six seasons between 2009 and 2015, but the iconic goalkeeper departed the club under a cloud following a fallout with Jose Mourinho, who accused him of leaking details from behind-the-scenes at the Bernabeu.
Now, it seems as though he is making another very powerful enemy in Ronaldo, who certainly will take note of this considering the way he has responded to other ex-pros such as Jamie Carragher.
