Michael Carrick in press conference ahead of Everton v Manchester United 4 September 2026
The Manchester United head coach is addressing the media at Carrington on Friday, in advance of the big game at Old Trafford.
While our Premier League press conferences are usually embargoed, this one will be broadcast live on MUTV, the United App and ManUtd.com as it happens, from 13:30 BST.
Fans will be eagerly anticipating an update on the team news, following an extended international break that involved a number of first-team players.
The boss is likely to be asked about the fitness of Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui, after they picked up injuries representing Denmark and Morocco respectively.
We are also expecting the latest regarding Amad, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford and Benjamin Šeško, as United look to restart the campaign with three points against the struggling north Londoners.
There is still an embargoed section of the briefing, which will be released at 22:30 BST on Friday.
