Simone Inzaghi remains one of the most highly regarded Italian coaches at the moment, despite now working in Saudi Arabia as the head coach of Al Hilal. He could also become relevant at Juventus if the club decides to make a change in the dugout.
Luciano Spalletti continues to have the backing of the Juventus management, who regard him as one of the top coaches available to the club. However, he knows that he must deliver results to keep his position.
Juve believes Spalletti can achieve that, but they have still started considering alternatives in case he fails to deliver. Calciomercato reports that Inzaghi is one of the managers they would like to have on their bench.
Juventus continue to back Spalletti
Inzaghi left Serie A after the 2025 Champions League final and moved to Saudi Arabia, where he took charge of Al Hilal. His current contract runs until the end of this season, although there is no guarantee that he will receive a new deal.
That situation has attracted Juventus’ attention, as the club could view the end of his contract as an opportunity to bring him back to Italy. The Bianconeri are monitoring his position.
For now, however, Juventus are not preparing to replace Spalletti. The management continues to support him and believes he has the qualities needed to succeed in Turin.
Inzaghi could become an option
If Juventus receive encouragement that Inzaghi could leave Al Hilal, they would reportedly push to bring him to the club as a replacement for Spalletti. That scenario would only become relevant if the current manager fails to meet expectations during the season.
Juventus will continue to track Inzaghi’s situation while trusting Spalletti. His future at Al Hilal could determine whether Juventus have a realistic opportunity to make a move.
For the moment, the Bianconeri expect Spalletti to improve Juventus’ fortunes and believe he can deliver a much stronger end to the campaign than the previous season.
