James Trafford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin may have mixed feelings about their time away with England.
Trafford started his first two competitive games for the Three Lions, the 3-2 Nations League defeat to Spain and the 2-0 win away at Czechia. For now, though, it seems Jordan Pickford stays as number one.
Meanwhile, Calvert-Lewin was only afforded a little over 15 minutes of action across all four games, despite being the only back-up number nine. A penny for his thoughts.
Both Leeds United players will try to react when they are given the nod to start against Arsenal this weekend, a very tough welcome back. Calvert-Lewin has scored against the Gunners just once in his past 12 meetings, though Trafford kept a clean sheet in last season’s League Cup final.

In front of Trafford will sit Tarik Muharemovic, who scored for Bosnia & Herzegovina during the international break. Nico Elvedi also did so for Switzerland but there may be temptation from Daniel Farke to put in Jaka Bijol.
While other areas of his game have been superb, Elvedi has not been overly successful in physical duels and so the manager may prefer to field the bulkier Jaka Bijol, who earned some much-needed game rhythm with Slovenia.

With Arsenal utilising the overlap, Farke may decide to keep James Justin - who, like right wing-back Jayden Bogle, has had a rest this break - in order to keep the balance of pace and Premier League experience.
Gabriel Gudmundsson will hope to do better than last year when conceding a penalty against Max Dowman, albeit a panel later ruled that this was a wrong decision anyway. He will begin at left wing-back.
Ao Tanaka won the Kirim Cup with Japan this break and so keeps up his confidence and rhythm. He looks set to play alongside Ethan Ampadu, who played every single minute for Wales in their four fixtures.
Anton Stach has not had the best of periods, failing to excite against Crystal Palace before only being handed 32 minutes across two substitute appearances for Germany. If Harry Wilson is back fit from his quad injury, perhaps Farke has a judgement call to make.
Instead, Brenden Aaronson - not picked for US duty this break - could be used for his ground coverage and hassling, given Leeds are likely to be without possession for long periods and will need relentless running.
Noah Okafor’s withdrawal from Switzerland selection means he has had a rest over the past few weeks and will be the attacking outlet Leeds look to on the counter amid his desire to take players on.
Predicted XI: Trafford; Justin, Bijol, Muharemovic; Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Gudmundsson; Aaronson, Okafor, Calvert-Lewin.
