Juan Cabal has handed Juventus a fitness boost after returning from injury, giving Luciano Spalletti another option for the remainder of the season. The defender’s recovery comes after his proposed move away from the club fell through during the last transfer window, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Atalanta were interested in signing Cabal during the transfer window, but the deal collapsed in the final hours of deadline day. His situation at Juventus subsequently became more complicated when he suffered an injury shortly after the season began.
His return provides some welcome depth for a Juventus side that has lost several players to injuries since the start of the campaign. Although Cabal has struggled to establish himself under Spalletti, his availability gives the manager another option when selecting his defence.

Cabal has not been a regular choice for Spalletti, and the defender will need to convince his manager if he wants to secure more playing time. However, having him available could prove useful when injuries and other absences leave Juventus short of alternatives.
The Colombian will hope to take advantage of any opportunities that come his way. Regular appearances would give him the chance to demonstrate his abilities and potentially attract interest from clubs willing to offer him a fresh start.
