Leeds’ form since the end of last year has caught the eye of many.
Daniel Farke managed to turn things around and got the team on an impressive unbeaten run. They accumulated enough points to help them finish in 14th place in the league.
Jamie Carragher was speaking on The Overlap about how well Leeds United have been doing since last year.
“Leeds, in fifth position on nine points. This feels like it’s not just this season, the Leeds story every time, you go back to Manchester City and the turnaround after that,” Carragher said to me.
“There’s been a real show of consistency through this manager and players for a long time.”
The former Liverpool man also had a lot of praise for Daniel Farke, who has been crucial to this side.
“Daniel Farke, I’m a huge fan of him,” Carragher said.
“There was a lot of questions around him when he came up. There was talk about him maybe losing his job.
“You’re talking about the work there, in terms of the system. Do you think that was always the plan, to change and have that adapability to play different systems?”

Daniel Farke has proven his quality
Not many managers have made the jump from the Premier League to the Championship, but Farke had done a great job of that.
The way he took control of Leeds’ season and turned things around was impressive to watch. Finishing in 14th place ahead of clubs like Spurs and Nottigham Forest despite a ”lesser’ quality squad showed a lot.
So many coaches have bee fired since last year ad Farke remains in a job.
Give how he has started this season, there is a chance that Leeds finish higher that they did last year.
