Leeds team news
Dan James returned from international duty with a back injury which has led to him already being ruled out of today’s clash against the Gunners.
James joins Wales international teammate Joe Rodon as the two Leeds players definitely out, centre-back Rodon still recovering from a hamstring injury.
Doubts of differing degrees surround attackers Harry Wilson and Jean-Matteo Bahoya but both have chances of featuring.
Wilson suffered a quad injury before the international break which led to him missing the home clash against Crystal Palace and also pulling out of the Wales squad.
Wilson, though, returned to team training on Tuesday. Whites boss Daniel Farke said Leeds would wait to see how his body reacted but there was a chance that he could be available.
It’s a similar story on that front with Bahoya who sprained his ankle playing for France’s under-21s last weekend, a blow which forced the deadline day signing to leave the squad.
Bahoya, though, was back out on the pitch with his Leeds teammates on Thursday and also faces a late check.
On Rodon, Whites boss Daniel Farke said at Thursday’s pre-match press conference that Rodon was making good progress in his rehab and already having individual sessions on the pitch but that it would be a bit of time until he was back in team training.
Predicted Leeds line-up: Trafford; Bogle, Justin, Elvedi, Muharemovic, Gudmundsson; Ampadu, Tanaka, Stach; Okafor, Calvert-Lewin.
