The latest injury news from Bournemouth ahead of next Sunday’s home game with Sunderland.
Sunderland and Bournemouth both face Europa League ties in midweek before their attention turns towards next Sunday’s Premier League at the Vitality Stadium.
The Black Cats will look to build on their hard earned home win against Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar on the opening night of their first ever Europa League campaign when they travel to Portuguese second tier outfit Torreense on Thursday on the same night Bournemouth host Sturm Graz.

However, once European matters are put to the side, the two sides will focus on what already feels like a big game on the south coast after they both made slow starts to their domestic campaign. For Bournemouth, there have been some major blows on the injury front and a number of key players are expected to miss next Sunday’s game as Marco Rose continues to deal with a squad that has been depleted throughout the early months of his managerial reign.
So who will miss the meeting with the Black Cats and who could return to the Cherries squad?

Alex Scott - Out
The England international is expected to remain on the sidelines until November after he picked up a thigh injury playing for the Three Lions in their Nations League win against Croatia. Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Cherries’ defeat at Chelsea, Rose revealed the classy midfielder will be sent for a scan over the coming days.
He said: "It's an injury from a muscle, and we'll do [scans] in some days again. But we're going to miss him, for sure, for four or five weeks. I'm very disappointed and it's a big loss."
Eli Kroupi - Out
The France Under-21 international was one of the breakout stars of the Premier League last season - but his chances of continuing that form during the current campaign have been hampered by undergoing surgery on a foot injury he picked up in pre-season. There have been suggestions the forward may be out of action until next month.
Julian Araujo - Out
The former Barcelona defender is still working his way back from undergoing surgery on a thigh injury and will not return to action until towards the end of November.

Justin Kluivert - Out
The versatile forward is rapidly closing in on a return to contention after suffering a muscle injury - but next weekend’s game at the Stadium of Light is expected to come too soon. Speaking ahead of the international break, Rose said of Kluivert: “It's a small muscle injury, and you never know. It's about the tendon; it's about just the muscle, so we have to see. We still don't know, but now we have three weeks to work on it, and we're going to see how long it needs after the national break.”
Veljko Milosavljevic and Amine Adli - Doubts
A knee injury has kept Milosavljevic on the sidelines since the summer and Adli is also yet to feature this season after suffering a calf injury. However, both players are believed to have a chance to feature against Sunderland and will be assessed ahead of the game.
