Maximo Perrone has become one of the top players at Como, attracting interest from Juventus over the last few months. The Bianconeri pushed to sign the midfielder during the summer, but Como refused to lose one of their most important players.
Perrone has continued to perform well for Como and has been meeting expectations. His importance to the team has strengthened the club’s determination to keep him despite Juventus’ continued interest.
Juventus face a tougher task
----------------------------
Juventus remain interested in signing Perrone, but their chances of securing his signature may have decreased. The Bianconeri could return for him in January or next summer, although Como are now determined to retain his services.
According to [Tuttomercatoweb](https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/serie-a/inter-juventus-napoli-volevano-perrone-rinnovandolo-como-conferma-big-2281457), Como want Perrone to stay and are preparing to offer him a new long-term contract. Their plan is to secure his future and ensure he continues playing for the club.
This could complicate Juventus’ pursuit, as Como have made keeping their key players a priority. The Bianconeri may now find it harder to negotiate a deal than they did during the summer transfer window.

Como plan to retain Perrone
---------------------------
Como wants Perrone to remain part of their squad and continue contributing in matches across all competitions. A new contract would help the club keep the midfielder for the long term.
Juventus could still revisit their interest in January or next summer, but they may have missed their best opportunity to sign him. Como are determined to do everything possible to prevent his departure.
The Bianconeri may therefore need to consider alternative targets as they look to strengthen their squad. Although Perrone remains on their radar, Como’s plans could make a potential transfer more difficult to complete.
For now, Como are focused on retaining the midfielder, while Juventus must assess whether to continue pursuing him or turn their attention elsewhere.
