Since the game ended, Daniel Farke’s side have been praised for how well they played despite losing.
Jason Cundy was the latest to give Leeds United credit following the game at the Emirates stadium. The talkSPORT presenter said that Farke’s men are ‘horrible’ to play against.
“I thought Leeds were excellent.
“It’s a big three points because Leeds are a stubborn team.
“Leeds are a side that a lot of people tipped to go down last season, and you managed to change the shape of the season.
“Everyone has bought into what Daniel Farke wants to do, and you are a horrible team to play against, and I mean it as a compliment.”
Now, Leeds have to prepare for their next game, which will be at home to Manchester United. Michael Carrick is under pressure, with reports that Antonio Conte could be in the hotseat at Old Trafford soon.

Result should not ruin Leeds’ promising start
The game on Saturday showed exactly why many have tipped the Whites to finish close to the European places. Leeds are very stubborn to play against and can hold the best of teams to limited performances.
In the last few weeks, they have kept Brighton and Brentford to just one goal in their respective fixtures.
Arsenal did manage to score twice and get the win, but they had to work for it. On another day, the Whites could have gotten something, but the attack let them down.
The goals they conceded at the Emirates came from cheap defensive mixups.
Leeds defenders lost their markers for both goals; something Daniel Farke has to work on in the coming weeks.
