Leeds United are seventh in the Premier League table after six games, having lost just once and that was by a single goal away at the champions. It has been a terrific start.
Leeds have enjoyed a better start than Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa, and still have the joint-lowest goals-conceded tally in the division (five; alongside Manchester City, Arsenal, Brighton and Everton).
The Whites have yet to play any newly-promoted side and three of their six league opponents so far sit in the top four. Furthermore, none of the current bottom five have been played yet.
Of course, as Daniel Farke will be the first to say, it is still very early on in the season. The manager even suggested after the defeat at the Emirates Stadium that the table does not matter right now.
But he has got fans dreaming of getting their passports out amid a possible European adventure. At the moment, these chants are being sung in a humorous tone, given the embryonic stages of the season.
Farke himself is targeting 40 points amid the club’s overall aim of simply staving off relegation for a second season.

As is common knowledge among the fanbase now, Paraag Marathe says another two seasons of stability are needed in order for Leeds to operate like a Premier League regular.
The reality is that few are putting Leeds in the relegation picture by any means as things stand, and quietly the hierarchy might feel similarly. Yet Farke is not taking anything for granted.
While heartbroken with the Arsenal defeat, he agreed that momentum can still be taken forward into Sunday’s clash with Manchester United but that Leeds need to once again earn the right to carry momentum on from that.
The biggest testament to the Whites’ start to the season, though, is that some will put Leeds as the favourites to beat the Red Devils. At the very least, the hosts have a very good chance of beating their counterpart on home soil for the first time since 2002.
Do that and Leeds will already be more than a quarter though their journey towards 40 points. Confidence is high. How confident do you feel yourself? Vote below.
