Simon Jordan and Jamie Carragher side-by-side

In the video, which stemmed from a podcast appearance on the Diary of a CEO in 2022, Carragher said: "I'd rather cheat and win than not win."
Carragher's resurfaced comments generated a social storm given how strong he has been on Manchester City after they were found guilty of breaching the Premier League's financial rules.
The Reds great has called for City's owners to be turfed out and all the honours won in the period they committed the alleged breaches to be stripped.
Simon Jordan labels Jamie Carragher a 'hypocrite'
After hearing the clip involving Carragher, ex-Crystal Palace owner Jordan claimed the former defender had been caught in a 'hypocritical moment' .
However, Jordan believed it should not detract from the ex-defender's verdict on City's financial crimes.
"He'll feel that perhaps he shouldn't have said that," Jordan said on Tuesday's edition of White and Jordan.
"I think it doesn't alter the fact that what he is saying about Man City has resonance.
"Most people in life are hypocrites, they might just not choose to admit it. He's been caught in a hypocritical moment.

"I'm talking about my striker diving for a penalty, me stopping a ball going over the line with my hand.
"I'm not talking about 900m in fake sponsorship over a number of years."
Although Jordan admitted on-field and off-field matters should be judged 'in different ways', he cautioned Carragher about continually beating the drum about City given his previous comments.
Simon Jordan: 'Cheating is cheating'
"If you're going to make imperious judgements, then you need to be beyond reproach," Jordan said.
"And if you're not beyond reproach because you've opened your mouth previously and said something I think was silly for Jamie... he has been caught in a hypocritical moment.
"I also went on to say that it doesn't alter what he's saying about Man City."
Jordan added: "Cheating is cheating. If you want to be judge, jury and executioner, and as much as it sticks in my craw, without allowing Manchester City due process, then expect to be judged by the standards you are wanting others to be judged by."
