Released Abube Onuchukwu has joined League One Oxford United on trial.
Having been let go by Town at the end of last season, the 20-year-old spent time training with Southend United in pre-season and has now linked up with the U’s.
Oxford are currently subject to a transfer embargo, but that doesn’t apply to youth contracts.
Midfielder Onuchukwu joined the Blues in the summer of 2024 after a trial having left Aston Villa’s youth set-up.
While with Town, he had stints on loan with Billericay, Chelmsford and Wingate & Finchley.
