Huge Man Utd crisis develops before Leeds United – 3 more stars including Bruno struggling

Leeds United take on Man Utd this weekend, looking to capitalise on the bleak mood at Old Trafford, with injuries suddenly emerging too.

Despite a defeat to the champions that ended our unbeaten Premier League start, the mood is high among Leeds fans after another convincing performance.

Up next, Leeds will look to get back to winning ways on home turf in the big one: Man Utd.

Man Utd injury crisis developing ahead of Leeds United clash on Sunday

Intensity (lack thereof) has been a big criticism of Michael Carrick’s side of late, after another lacklustre display against winless Spurs.

So, heading to one of the most aggressive and physically intense sides in the division isn’t what they’ll want to see on the agenda.

That’s especially the case with injuries emerging. As they travel to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League tonight, Luke Shaw is missing from the squad due to injury – as shared by Fabrizio Romano.

Elsewhere, Carrick confirmed Kobbie Mainoo is struggling with physical issues as well, with both absent against Atletico:

Not only that, but star man Bruno Fernandes isn’t at 100% either. Carrick shared that he’s carrying a “small but manageable” injury despite being in “good shape”.

After that, Benjamin Sesko, Manuel Ugarte, and Patrick Dorgu are long-term absentees sitting out.

Leeds United need to stick it on Man Utd on Sunday with aggressive performance

There can be no excuses for Daniel Farke’s side not to go out and try to blow them lot away. An intense performance from start to finish is exactly what’s needed.

The way they’re playing at the moment, the fact they have got midweek commitments against another horrid team to play against, and these injuries, means it’s in our favour.

We have to take confidence in our performances against them last season. And, the way we had Arsenal completely on the ropes for an hour is further proof too.

Farke and Leeds have got to show up with the same calibre of performance.
