**Joel Piroe has to start for West Ham vs Lincoln, but who should play alongside him?**
The Surinamese striker looked sharp when he came on on Friday. I think it’s time Nuno Espírito Santo started to trust him more, starting tomorrow night.
The starting place alongside Piroe is a tricky decision. I think there are three options: Pablo, Taty, or Kante.
I could see him going for Pablo for the hard-work, never-say-die attitude he has. And the front two of him and Piroe worked so well against a similar team in Wrexham. Taty could also be a good option because he is the most talented of the three; however, he was really poor against both Millwall and QPR.
Mohamadou Kante would be a bit of a wildcard choice. Pablo or Taty ideally wouldn’t be playing as out-and-out strikers, but if Kante started, he would be even less than that. I would like to see him almost as a midfielder who keeps making runs to support the striker.
This is the role Soucek should have been playing on Friday, but didn’t. I think the speed and energy of Kanté would make him the ideal candidate for that role if we were to play it.
However, like Soucek, Kanté isn’t exactly the most blessed technically, so I wouldn’t want him to affect the team’s ability to keep the ball and create chances, because we are going to need that against this Wrexham team.
For this reason, I would take a bit of a risk and start Taty Castellanos once again. With 4 goals and 3 assists this season, he clearly can score goals and make things happen; he just hasn’t in the last two.
For this to have any chance of working, however, Nuno will need to play Taty as the deeper of the two front men.
