Lisandro Martinez slammed the Manchester United board after defeat to Atletico Madrid - but it didn't sit well with Wayne Rooney.
United conceded inside minute one of their 2-0 Champions League loss and Leny Yoro was later shown a straight red for a last man foul.

Ademola Lookman made it game, set and match for Atletico with 11 minutes to play as they won their first match of the league phase.
It meant United have won just two of nine matches this season in all competitions, adding further pressure on head coach Michael Carrick.
But Martinez believes their shortcomings are down to the club board and their transfer business in the summer.
What did Martinez say in his outburst?
"It was really poor, really poor," he told Amazon Prime minutes after the full-time whistle.
"I have to control myself a lot. But sometimes it's a reflection of our club at the moment. We did it last season and now we expect more from the top.
"To bring more players, to compete. Other teams bring in many more players. I expect more from everyone… 100 per cent I expected more from our technical director.
"I have to be honest and also the players have to do more but it's just important when you make a strong squad for this type of night."
Martinez added: "Last season we created a base to build an amazing team. It's annoying and disappointing to come here and I'm not seeing my team get an amazing result here."

On whether Carrick has not been backed enough, he replied. "I don't think so. He does his best. The team knows how you play, every detail and if you don't change the next season, it's a big problem.
"You start changing, changing, changing manager, but what about other areas. I can't say more. It's easy to say the players but also we have to see other areas."
Rooney responds to Martinez rant
United legend Rooney, who won the Champions League at the club, was a pundit for Amazon and gave an instant response to Martinez.
"I actually disagree, because I think the performance was okay. I think the performance was better, there were some positive signs in there.
"It's a difficult one because I always used to feel I was outspoken as a player, you want to have your opinion.
"I think he's maybe gone a bit too far. That's down to the manager, and that should really stay internal.
"The fans want to hear the players speak, they want to hear the players care, so you can clearly see that he cares and he wants the club to invest more money in more players.
"I think if they do that, he'll probably be one of the players who's out the door, if we're being honest, his performances haven't been good enough.

"I think in some ways he is right, in terms of the club need to invest more at the top end of the pitch, in defence as well. But it looks like that was a bit of an agenda he's wanted to say, because that doesn't mirror the performance, I thought it was better.
Rooney added: "I think it's a bit disrespectful to his teammate as well, because he's disrespecting his teammates, he's saying the team aren't good enough...
"I think Bruno (Fernandes) is probably the only one who has any right to come out and say anything like that, if we're being honest, as captain.
"Even then, it should be behind closed doors if there's issues, which does happen - players have conversations with the manager, the manager has conversations with the board.
"But I think that interview there, it's not going to help the situation the club are in at the minute. That's going to bring greater noise around it, players are not happy, they're not settled, they don't trust their own teammates, that's not going to help at all."
What has Michael Carrick said?
Man United manager Carrick was asked about Martinez's comments, but said: "I haven't seen it.

"After a game like this you come here to try and get something from the game and you are disappointed and can be emotional. I have not seen it so I don't think it is the right time.
"We all care and show that in different ways but now is the time to be together and work through."
