Amad said, "I have no words", and exclaimed, "f***ing disgrace", after Manchester United lost to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
These comments make up the caption of a post on his Snapchat account, which is verified as a Snap Star, denoted by the star next to the name on their profile. Amad, 24, started the match in Madrid among the substitutes and was introduced midway through the second half to replace Marcus Rashford.
Less than ten minutes later, United had Leny Yoro sent off. They were already 1-0 down at the time, and then Ademola Lookman doubled Atletico's advantage.
Lisandro Martinez vented his fury in a post-match interview. He said: "I have to control myself a lot. But sometimes it's a reflection of how our club is at the moment, you know?"
"We (had) a fantastic season last season, and now we expect more from the top, from above, you know, to bring more players to compete, because many, many teams bring many players in as well, and today also, Atletico have an amazing team, and they deserved to win today."
Martinez reiterated: "I expected more, honestly. I expected more." He then focused on director of football Jason Wilcox.
"I expected more from our technical director," Martinez said of Wilcox. "I have to be honest, you know? And also, as players, we have to do more, but it's also important when you make a strong squad to be ready for these kinds of nights."
The player explained: "In general. I think last season we did everything; we created a base to build an amazing team. But this is something to be honest and to prove something, you know?
"Yeah, it's annoying, disappointing, to come here and not see my team trying to get an amazing result here. It's disappointing."
Asked about Michael Carrick, Martinez concluded: "He does his best. But every season is different. You cannot say what you did last season.
"The teams know how you play, the teams know every detail, you know? And if you don't change, next season is a big problem. You cannot keep changing managers. What about other areas? I can't say more."
Asked about what Martinez said his his post-match press conference, Carrick responded: "I need to find out a bit more about it before I can say if and what is going to be done. I really can't comment any further because I haven't seen it."
