The agent of rumoured Newcastle United transfer target David Otorbi has confirmed there has been Premier League interest in the winger - but insists the plan is to take his progress slowly.
The Magpies have reportedly watched the Valencia striker who is catching the eye with Valencia in La Liga.
The 18-year-old scored his first senior goal for the club in a 2-2 draw with Racing Santander on Sunday, with reports in Spain claiming that United had scouts in attendance.
Ortobi became Valencia's youngest ever player when he made his debut as a 16-year-old in January 2024, and has recently signed a contract which would keep him at the club until 2028.
However, he has been creating plenty of interest, with Newcastle said to be one of several Premier League sides keeping tabs on his progress.
His agent Nacho Gallart has admitted there has been contact from abroad, although stressed the player is happy at Valencia at this stage.

He told MARCA: ““He’s a player with a lot of market value, and always has been. In recent weeks, we’ve received calls from quite a few clubs. It’s true that many clubs have called us, especially from the Premier League.
“We are very happy in Valencia and, for the moment, our only objective is to continue learning, continue adding to our experience and help the team if the manager deems it appropriate.
“We want it to be slow. We believe that’s what’s necessary and we don’t want to rush.”
A Valencia native, Ortobi has played for Spain at youth level from Under-15s to Under-18s, and is also eligble to play for Nigeria through his parents.
