Juventus were among the clubs interested in signing Nicolo Tresoldi during the last transfer window, and his latest performance may have strengthened their belief in his ability to compete against top opposition. The forward delivered an outstanding display for Club Brugge in the Champions League against Inter Milan.
Brugge travelled to the San Siro for an important match. Inter are among the strongest teams in Serie A and were expected to represent Italian football well in Europe, but they struggled to contain the visitors.
Tresoldi proved to be the difference maker, scoring a stunning hat-trick to help Brugge secure a 4-3 victory. His performance silenced the home crowd and showcased the attacking quality that had reportedly attracted Juventus.
Tresoldi makes his case against Inter
Brugge were difficult for Inter to break down, and the visitors found a way to win at the San Siro. Tresoldi’s three goals played a central role in their success and gave him a chance to demonstrate his quality against a leading Italian side.
As reported by Calciomercato, Juventus would have been watching the match closely as they consider adding a striker to their squad during the January transfer window. If there were doubts about whether Tresoldi could deliver against top opponents, his showing provided a strong response on the pitch.

Juventus could revisit their interest
Tresoldi’s performance may strengthen his case as a potential addition for Juventus as they assess their attacking options ahead of January. A hat-trick against Inter is a notable achievement, particularly for a player already linked with the Bianconeri.
However, any move would depend on whether Brugge were willing to let one of their important players leave in the middle of the season. Tresoldi is one of the Belgian club’s key players, so Juventus could face a difficult task if they decide to pursue him.
It remains to be seen whether the Bianconeri can persuade Brugge to agree to a midseason sale. For now, Tresoldi has delivered a performance that could keep him in the conversation as Juventus weigh up their options for the January window.
