Like many Juventus fans, Alessio Tacchinardi is unhappy with the club’s current situation. A lack of consistency has prevented the team from making significant progress, raising concerns about whether the Bianconeri can return to competing for major honours.
Some of Juventus’ problems are difficult to overlook, and the club are aware of the areas that need improvement. They are working to become a stronger side, but turning that ambition into consistent performances has proved challenging.
The ultimate goal is to restore the dominance Juventus enjoyed when they won nine consecutive league titles. During that period, their rivals knew they would face a formidable opponent whenever they met the Bianconeri. Reaching that level again, however, will take considerable time and effort.
Juventus still have a long way to go
------------------------------------
For now, Juventus appear focused on securing a place in the top four rather than challenging consistently for the league title. Even that objective could prove difficult this season, following the struggles they experienced last term when they failed to achieve it.
Tacchinardi knows the club well, having represented Juventus during his playing career. His experience gives him a clear perspective on the standards expected at the club and the shortcomings that continue to hold the team back.
The former midfielder has now highlighted concerns about Juventus’ latest performance, particularly their inability to turn dominance into a more convincing result. Creating chances and controlling possession are important, but the team must become more effective if they want to take the next step.

Tacchinardi identifies key attacking concerns
---------------------------------------------
Speaking via [Football Italia](https://football-italia.net/tacchinardi-juventus-need-replace-woltemade/), Tacchinardi explained his frustration with Juventus dropping points despite controlling much of the match.
“They’ve dropped two points despite creating many chances and dominating possession.
“It feels like they still aren’t ready to take the next step. I think this match leaves two things. First, Zhegrova must play, because he was far more efficient than Conceiçao; second, Kolo Muani struggles when left alone in attack.”
His comments underline two specific areas that he believes require attention. Tacchinardi feels Zhegrova deserves more playing time because of his efficiency, while Kolo Muani may need additional support when leading the attack alone.
Juventus must find ways to convert their possession and chances into better results. Until they address those concerns and produce more consistent performances, questions about their progress are likely to remain, particularly as they attempt to secure a top four finish and rebuild their position among Italy’s leading clubs.
