Manchester City defender Marc Guehi insisted the Blues will be hard on themselves after losing 4-2 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. City were blown away by PSG in the first half as Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha, all scored to give Luis Enrique's side a healthy advantage.
Enzo Maresca made a triple change at the break to try and change the game in their favour. Erling Haaland scored less than 10 minutes into the second half to give City fans hope of an improbable comeback. However, Maghnes Akliouche's freak goal pushed that out of reach.
Haaland would score again to close the gap to two but the mountain proved too high to climb. Ferran Torres was denied from the penalty spot late on, but it was PSG who took the points.
Speaking to City's Matchday Live at full time, Guehi reflected on the defeat and how his team will look to bounce back.
"First half we need to do a lot better myself included for the first two goals. They were a bit more aggressive," the centre-back said. "Second half was the complete opposite, we were a lot more aggressive. We won a lot more of the duels which gave us the platform to go and score those goals. Not the best first-half but a lot of positives to take from the second-half.
"It says a lot about not just the players but the football club in general, the fans stuck by us the whole game. The support was amazing.

"I think every single person knew that as long as we keep fighting, there was something there for us. I think it’s only the beginning of the competition. Hopefully we can learn from this and put better performances in future games."
On that learning experience, Guehi added: "We need to stay positive. I am the hardest on myself, everyone is going to be hard on themselves but we have got a game coming up fast so it is important to try and move on, learn quickly, and move on, and try and put that right.
"Another game, another opportunity [vs Ipswich Town] and I am sure the fans will be there backing us again."
