Little is known of their Portuguese Cup winning squad - but one key player is well known to a Sunderland star after they impressed alongside each other at international level over the last 12 months. Wilson Isidor will hope to earn a starting place for the meeting with Torreense and he will come face-to-face with Haiti international team-mate Dany Jean if he makes the cut.

The 23-year-old winger joined Torreense from French club Strasbourg in January 2025 and has gone on to score ten goals and provide six assists in 61 appearances over the his time with the club. He also appears to have an aggressive streak after receiving 16 yellow cards and two red cards during that time. With his pace and power and ability to play across the frontline or as a number ten, Jean has become integral to Torreense throughout a historic period. He has also featured alongside Isidor at international level over recent weeks as Haiti claimed CONCACAF Nations League wins against Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic before falling to a defeat against Costa Rica.
