Juventus travel to Celta Vigo for an important Europa League fixture as they aim to secure consecutive victories in the competition, and this is the starting eleven just announced.
The Bianconeri are among the leading teams remaining in the competition and will be eager to demonstrate their quality as the tournament progresses. However, they know their next opponents could present a much tougher challenge than the one they faced in their opening European match.
Juventus face a tougher European test
-------------------------------------
Celta Vigo are expected to provide stronger opposition than NEC, particularly because they will have home advantage. Juventus cannot assume that the contest will follow the same pattern as their previous European outing, and they will need to remain focused throughout the match.
The Bianconeri have reasons to approach the fixture with confidence, having recorded two wins and a draw across their last three competitive matches. That run of results should provide encouragement as they look to extend their positive form in Europe.
Nevertheless, playing away from home brings additional challenges, and Juventus will need to be disciplined if they are to secure the result they want. Their opponents will be determined to make the most of their home support.
Celta Vigo will be eager to respond
-----------------------------------
Celta performed well last season, but their recent results have been less convincing. They have managed just one win in their last five matches and also lost their opening European fixture ahead of this meeting with Juventus.
The Spanish side will view their home matches as crucial opportunities to collect points and improve their chances of progressing in the competition. That makes this fixture particularly important for them, and Juventus should expect a determined response from the hosts.
The Old Lady understands that away matches in Europe are rarely straightforward. They will need to start strongly, maintain their concentration and perform at a high level from the opening whistle if they hope to return home with another victory.
With both teams having clear reasons to pursue a positive result, Juventus must be ready for a demanding encounter in Spain.
