Randal Kolo Muani’s late goal helped the Men’s First Team to a late victory against Celta Vigo in the Europa League, with Nick Woltemade also scoring in the 2-1 win.
Coach Luciano Spalletti and Woltemade spoke to the press after the match in Galicia.
“In the first half we were a bit slow in everything we did. We kept giving them too much time to get organised. We had to try to win the match, and I like that, taking risks is part and parcel of modern football. I like the lads’ attitude, they showed it again this evening.”

“I’m delighted with the win. I did some good things tonight, though I can certainly do better. I’m pleased with the goal, it’s definitely something that gives a striker confidence, and I want to keep improving to help the team even more. I enjoy playing alongside Kolo Muani, when we’re together in the penalty area, it’s harder for the opposition to defend. I’m also delighted with his goal.”
