Luciano Spalletti knows he faces pressure to improve results as Juventus manager, with the experienced coach aware that his position could come under threat if the team’s performances do not improve. The Bianconeri have suffered a difficult spell, and their latest defeat against Lazio in Serie A has added to concerns about their form.

Juventus have yet to win a league match since club football resumed after the international break, leaving the club needing a response. Expectations remain high in Turin, where supporters want to see their team competing consistently at the top of Italian football.

Juventus need to improve their results

The Bianconeri are competing in the Europa League after failing to finish in the Serie A top four last season. Missing out on Champions League qualification again would represent another setback for a club accustomed to challenging for major honours.

Juventus remain one of Italy’s biggest clubs, and results carry significant importance as they seek to rebuild a side capable of winning trophies regularly. The club’s ambition is to restore the dominance they enjoyed in previous years, when they established themselves as the leading force in Italian football.

However, the current situation means Spalletti must find a way to turn things around. While the squad may need further improvements, the manager will ultimately be expected to take responsibility for performances and results on the pitch.

Behrami questions Spalletti’s position

Former footballer Valon Behrami believes Spalletti’s position could become increasingly uncertain if Juventus fail to show signs of progress. Speaking via Calciomercato, he questioned whether the coach was meeting expectations and suggested that the team’s limitations also needed to be considered.

Behrami said:

“Now I think we need to make some assessments of the coach.

“He’s at risk because the expectations we had were high, even if perhaps the real dimension is today. It doesn’t have top midfielders, top attackers… It’s not structured to win the Scudetto.”

Spalletti must now find solutions to Juventus’ recent struggles and restore confidence through improved performances. If results continue to disappoint, questions about his future are likely to grow, particularly given the expectations attached to managing a club of Juventus’ stature.
