Report – Juventus looking at two strikers for January

Juventus still has its eyes out for a new striker while they wait for Jeff Ekhator to be fit to play for the team again this season. They signed Ekhator, Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade in the summer, so they should be settled in that striker department in this campaign.

However, that has not been the case so far, as Juve has simply not been able to make the most of the team to get as many goals as they need. Juventus is in need of more firepower in attack, and they have plans to bolster that part of their squad in the January transfer window as they have to finish inside the top four.

Juve’s Striker Search

Tuttomercatoweb says if Ekhator gets back and things do not improve, Juve will make an approach for Alexander Sorloth or Folarin Balogun at the end of 2026. They wanted to sign both strikers in the summer and did not manage to pull off any of the transfers, so the Old Lady wants it now, and they will make a move for at least one of them in January.

The club’s need for a striker is clear, and the failure to sign one in the summer has left a gap. Sorloth and Balogun are both proven goalscorers, and either would strengthen the squad.

The Pressure to Deliver

Juve is ready to spend as long as it leads to success and a return to the Champions League because failing to make the top four could be a disaster. The club’s ambitions are high, and the pressure to perform is immense.

The January window will be crucial, and the fans will be hoping the club gets it right. The striker’s quality is not in question, and the competition for his signature will be fierce. The Old Lady must act decisively.

The coming weeks will show whether Juventus can get the deal done, as the race for a striker heats up. The club’s focus is on the top four, and the January window will be key. The pressure is on.
