Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus are both in disarray after their recent struggles continued with shock defeats on Wednesday, with the former getting booed off after losing 4-2 at San Siro to Bologna, while the Turin giants went down 2-0 at Genoa.
Champions Inter, meanwhile, won 2-0 at bottom side Venezia thanks to two late own goals by the home side's Matias Moreno and Redouane Halhal to pull back level at the top of the table with Lazio, who thumped Sassuolo 6-2 on Tuesday, with 25 points from nine games.
Milan, who will face Inter in Saturday's big derby match, are seven points off the pace in fifth, while Juve are 11 points behind the leaders in eighth.
