Juventus CEO and General Manager Giovanni Carnevali had an encounter with players at the Turin giants' Continassa training centre on Thursday to tell them an immediate response is needed after their poor form continued with Wednesday's 2-0 defeat at Genoa, ANSA sources said That result leave Juve 11 points behind leaders Inter and Lazio after just nine games in eighth place in Serie A.
Carnevali stressed that the turnaround was needed with the current coach, Luciano Spalletti, at the helm, the sources said.
It was also decided that Juve should start their pre-match training camp in view of Sunday's visit to Napoli on Friday evening, rather than the day before, the sources said.
